I absolutely loved this book! This story pulled my heart strings as a young woman blamed herself for everything in her life that she had no control over and instead of looking at the big picture was stuck on all of her faults.  The man who once held her heart she pushed away has now come back to investigate the corruption within the police department. One fatal shot to save the daughter of a congressman blows open a twisted plot of crooked cops, secrecy, and someone from the past seeking revenge.

These events spiral Jazz Parker out of the very control she has spent her whole life trying maintain. The creativity of the author is awe inspiring as a crazed memory makes vicious comeback! The weather was beautiful but was no comparison to the awesome views of balloons soaring by that I have been watching on television all of my life! This year hubby and i ventured to NYC for the Macy's Thanksgiving day Parade! While the view was awesome....all the people pushing and shoving were not. A piece of advise to any of my readers whom try to brave the crowds please get there EARLY! I mean like 6:30 am!!! Entering Manhattan at 8 am an hour before the start was crazy! However, I think next year we will just watch it at home where i can curl up with a blanket and my two girls on the couch.
